Our story

Built for the trade, one part at a time

Road transport has always run on a patchwork of scattered tools, phone calls and classified ads. Hauliers chased work across half a dozen sites and swapped details over the phone, in places never built for the job. The information was out there, but nothing joined it up, and the people doing the work deserved better.

So we set out to build proper, connected web platforms for the trade, made for how the industry actually operates. We started with trucks, because that is where the need was loudest, then brought the same thinking to trailers, with vans next. The group designs, builds, hosts and grows each platform, getting every piece right before moving on.

Emma has spent her whole working life in road transport and is a qualified transport manager. She knows the yards, the routes and the daily reality of keeping freight moving, and that is the perspective every platform in the group is built on: tools shaped by someone who has done the job, not just built the software.

Which platforms are live, and which are still being built?
TrucksLife and TrailersLife are both live and in everyday use. VansLifes, our platform for vans and light commercials, is still in development and not yet open to the public.
How do the platforms relate to each other?
They are separate platforms run by Life Internet Services Ltd, each focused on its own part of road transport: trucks and haulage, trailers, and vans. They share the same approach to design and tools, so a finder or an auction works in a familiar way across every platform.
Can I list or advertise across more than one platform?
Yes. If you sell or service trucks and trailers, for example, you can list on both TrucksLife and TrailersLife, using tools such as Vehicle Finder, Trailer Finder, Parts Finder and the auctions. You set up your listings on each platform separately.
What can I actually do on the live platforms today?
On TrucksLife you get nine connected tools: Vehicle Finder, Haulage Finder, Job Finder, Truck Stops, Parts Finder, Accessory Finder, Auctions, Truck Services and Fuel Prices. TrailersLife covers the UK, Ireland and Europe with Trailer Finder, Parts Finder, Accessory Finder, Trailer Auctions and Trailer Services.

VansLifes is still in development, so there are no live features or launch dates to announce yet. To stay informed, follow updates here and on TrucksLife and TrailersLife.
